The assassination has to be done soon so I can get this over with. I don't want to get caught. If the people find out, what will they think of me?
This is going to be so hard. I don't want to do this. This goes against the king's trust. Not only does he trust me, he double trusts me.
I'm supposed to be his servant, I should be his host, but instead, I'm going to be his murderer. This is contradicting.
"If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well it done quickly. If th' assassination could trammel up the consequence and catch with his surcase success, that but this blow might be the be-all and the end-all here"
Duncan's workers are so meek. When I'm completing the assassination they will all oblige.
"This even-handed justice commands th' ingredience of our poisoned chalice to our own lips. He's here in double trust"
Duncan is weak as well and he has too much pity.
"First, as I am his kinsman and his subject, strong both against the deed" then, as his host, who should against his murderer shut the door, not bear the knife myself."
When this is done, the people will all be shocked and everyone will be blown away by this horrid deed.
"Besides, this Duncan hath borne his faculties so meek, hath been so clear in his great office, that his virtues will plead like angels, trumpet-tongued."
"Against the deep damnation of his taking-off; and pity, like a naked newborn babe."
"Shall blow the horrid deed in every eye, that tears shall drown the wind."
