Caesar, beware the Ides of March!
Flavius and Marullus are angry with the commoners for celebrating Caesar's victory over Pompey because they felt the commoners had betrayed Pompey.
Caesar is telling Antonius that he must touch Calpurnia during the race to make her fertile; however, they are interrupted by a soothsayer.
Cassius is sneakily trying to convince Brutus to turn against Caesar. Cassius says bad things about Caesar and tells Brutus that defeating kings runs in his family.
Casca is called over by Cassius to explain why the people shouted three times. Casca says Antony offered Caesar a crown three times with the people cheering him on, but Ceasar declined.
Cinna, Casca, and Cassius talked even more of convincing Brutus to join them one night when it was storming.
