This storyboard does not have a description.
Today we will learn about the Persian War cause and effect!
One cause of the Persian War was the fact that Persia wanted to expand there land but it would go over to Greece and Greece didn't want them to. So Persia decided to try and fight them for their land.
The second cause was Athens helped burn the city of Sardis, and Persia wanted revenge for the burning. This made the Persians mad because Athens didn't have anything to do with why they burned down Sardis, they were just helping people.
There were many causes, but for now we ill just talk about two of them.
One effect was Greece became united. They started fighting together which brought them together as a country.
There were also many effects of the Persian War.
Another effect is that the Persian Empire shrank. This is do to the fact that in order for Persia to grow they would need Greece's land, so when they lost and didn't gain land their empire shrank. Also a lot of their people died in the war.
