Every morning Sarah's dog, Colonel Flufferbugs, wakes her up by arriving at her bed and barking, using mechanical kinetic energy.
Then, she turns on the water for a shower, which uses kinetic energy, heat energy, and electrical energy.
Next, she waters her plants(mechanical kinetic energy), while the sun uses solar energy to provide light and warmth.
Then, Sarah goes to work, getting some breakfast (chemical energy) on the way. Her computer screen's light is electrical energy.
Unfortunately for Sarah, she has to drive down a big hill to get home after work. This is an example of mechanical potential energy while she is at the top of the hill.
At the end of the day, Sarah makes some dinner for her and Colonel Flufferbugs, using heat energy on the stove.
