  • some main characters in jip are jip, put, Sheldon, Mr and Mrs lymon, the Wilkins family,teacher, the bracket's, slave catchers, and people of poor farm. the setting of the story is on a poor farm in Vermont in the mid 1800s

  • The main conflict of the story is jip trying to find his family while living on poor farm.
  •  falling actions
  • when the stranger started to follow jip and talk to him.
  • resolution
  • The climax happens when Jip is hiding from the slave catchers in the wagon. this is pretty much the turning point of the story where he has to run away from the slave catchers while trying to go to Canada at the same time.
  • bark bark
  • the falling actions of the story is when Jip boards the train to go to Ontario Canada to met Ezekiel freeman.
  • The resolution of Jip is when he arrives in Canada and meets Ezekiel freeman later to join the civil war.
