  • Due process is important for people accused of crimes because if we didn't have a due process, then the government can do anything they want with the case, like if someone did or did not do something the government could make the person either get away with it or get punish. Having the due process makes the government to go through legal procedures and fair before it takes anyone's right of life, liberty, and death.
