Storyboard Text

  • Get up, dear Portia! I am only sick. Now go back to sleep.
  • My dear Brutus, I am worried sick about you! Why haven't you been in bed?! I can keep your secrets! If I can bear the pain of a stab in the thigh, I can bear your secrets!
  •     The next day in Caesar's home...
  • Calpurnia, I'm sure it was just a bad dream.. I would stay home with you if it wasn't for the fact that Decius Brutus informed me that I am to be offered the crown today! And surely you don't want me to seem afraid...
  • My dear Caesar, do not go to the Senate today! I had a terrible nightmare that you were a statue with a hundred holes and blood was pouring out of you while happy Romans washed their hands in it! It's a sign! Don't go and stay home with me!
  • Later in Artemidorus' study...
  • I shall write a letter of warning to Caesar. It will say “Caesar, beware of Brutus, take heed of Cassius, come not near Casca, have an eye on Cinna, trust not Trebonius, mark well Metellus Cimber, Decius Brutus loves thee not, thou has wronged Caius Legarius. There is but one mind in all these men, and it is bent against Caesar.”
  • Later in the streets of Rome...
  • Lucius! Run to the capitol at once!
  • Yes ma'am! But what am I to do there?
  • Oh, Soothsayer! Do you know if Caesar has left the capitol yet?
  • No, but I am on my way there to give him a warning.
  • Lucius, run and see if Caesar is still at the capitol!
  • I'm having a nervous breakdown!
  • Yes ma'am!
