  • The puritans were people who were very strict about your belief and religion, if you had other beliefs then they would persicute you.

  • The puritans thought that people were witches and they believed that witches would put curses on their things.
  • What can we learn?
  • Guess we can learn that they were people who believed in something that turned out to be wrong.

  • The trial would take place in a court room and if the person said they were a witch they would have to move out of the town, but if they would not admit to being a witch they would put them through torture to see if they were a witch.
  • The one on the left describes what they would do if the person admitted to being a witch and the one on the right shows what would happen if they did not admit to being a witch.
