Elizabeth is sad because she doesn't have a job. She has felt this way ever since she graduated high school and couldn't find a job. Her husband tells her that all she's good for is helping around the house. She doesn't want to believe him, but she's starting to think he's right.

Elizabeth, and her friend, Emily, go to a nearby restaurant. Elizabeth tells Emily about her problems and Emily tells her about a poster she saw. It had an image of a woman working named Rosie with the caption "We can do it!" Suddenly, Elizabeth feels motivated and decided to get a job.

Elizabeth talks to her husband about getting a job, but he continues to tell her that all she's good for is cleaning. Elizabeth tells him bout how sick she is of him and they get into a fight. She then finds out that he had been cheating on her for a few months. She hates him, but feels bad for the girl, as she didn't know that he had a wife
Elizabeth filed a divorce and is no longer sad anymore. She and the girl talked things through and became close friends. Elizabeth's ex-husband is sad and doesn't know where to go, so he goes to his mom's house. Here, Elizabeth is kicking him out.
Elizabeth, Emily, and her new friend, Alice, all sign up to work for the workforce in factories. They are all happy with their jobs and are proud of themselves for signing up. Emily and Alice tell Elizabeth how proud they are of her for standing up to her ex-husband.
A few years go by before Elizabeth meets a nice man named Edward. He treats her way better than her ex-husband did, so she is really happy. She feels so lucky to have met him, and that's why they got married. They decided to get married where they first met. Elizabeth still can't believe they had both gotten lost on a tour trip and ended up meeting each other. It must have been fate.
