Saving the Day...
The Fleece of Gold...
The mighty Chiron, a centaur, brings young Jason in. This was an attempt to protect him from danger.
All Hail the Argo...
After saving what appeared to be a simple old lady from a strong current, Jason soon realizes that she is actually the great Hera.
King Pelius challenges Jason to retrieve the Golden Fleece.
Baiting the Enemy...
With the creation of the Argo, by Argus and Athena, Jason and his crew were rightfully titled as the Argonauts.
The king of Salydessus, Phineus, proposed a deal with Jason. He had a Harpy problem. Every dinner, they defecated on the food, ruining their appetites. If he were to remove the Harpies from his kingdom, then Phineus would tell Jason what lies ahead.
After Phineus informs Jason of the Clashing Rocks, two rocks that clash at the notion of ships passing through, Phineus formulates a plan. If you follow a bird passing through, the rocks will prematurely clash. During the time it takes for them to reset, Jason could pass.
