Antigone and Ismene are discussing how bad there family luck is for their father/brother and mother and now their brothers who have died fighting each other. Antigone is telling ismene she has to bury the body so that her brothers soul can rest in peace
Bring me the culprit who did the crime or I will kill you in there place
Eteocles was given a proper burial by the king for protecting the kingdom while his brother polynieces who tried to march on his own kingdom with his own army was left n the street and is not allowed to be buried.
The chorus and choragus are telling their stories of the battle between polynicies and eteocles and which they feel is in the right and how the gods support polynices for fighting for his homeland.
The sentry is telling the king that there is dust on the body and creon feels as if it is anarchy and wants who has done the crime no matter what
Antigone is trying to at least give her brother a burial that will allow her brothers body to move on to the afterlife
I am sorry brother for you deserve a better burial than you have recieved now
The chorus is talking about how powerful the law of men are but how easily you can break them.
