The boston tea party

  • After the Boston Massacre the colonists had been pushed to their limits.
  • They were furious... They had been taxed without having any say in parliament.
  • NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
  • The colonists were upset and ready to fight back.
  •  The Sons of Liberty had to make a plan to retaliate. This plan would be carried out at the Boston Harbor in December of 1773.
  • The plan they had made was to attack the shipments of tea at the Boston Harbor. This event is known as the Boston Tea-party.
  • This was an important step towards America's freedom. An important step to fight back the tyranny of Britain.
