  • Eckels arrives at the office and learns of what is going to happen on their hunt.
  • Climax
  • They get in the machine. Travis says the rules and how they can't go off the path and only shoot the one with a red mark.
  • Falling Action
  • They arrive in the jungle and spot the dinosaur. They make sure it has a red spot and they kill it.
  • Resolution
  • Eckels runs off the path without realizing it and steps on a butterfly.
  • Travis realizes what Eckels has done and makes him go get the bullets from the dinosaur.
  • They arrive back at the office and Eckels notices the sign is different and figures out the president has changed.
