  • "Oversleeping can also make it easier for your body to contract diseases and for you to become depressed. If you sleep too little, you may have trouble concentrating and have a weakened immune system."
  • "Is this a nightmare?" asked Timmy. 
  • "Of course not," replied Death. "Nightmares are scary and stressful. This is more your mind taking advantage of a teachable moment in an entertaining and educational way."
  • "Speaking of teachable moments, I'm here to tell you about how much sleep each age group should get."
  • "Of course the dog talks," says Timmy.
  • "Teenagers, like you, should get eight to ten hours of sleep, while adults should get seven to nine."
  • "Babies," continued the dog, "should sleep from twelve to fifteen hours a night and toddlers should get eleven to thirteen."
  • "Healthy sleep habits," said Stephen, "include keeping a consistent sleep schedule, set a relaxing bedtime routine, exercise regularly, and make your bedroom quiet and relaxing."
  • When Timmy woke up, he told himself that he would get more sleep at night. After apologizing to his teacher, of course.
