  • The Paleolithic Times
  • Payback.
  • Our babies are dying, we have no food, nobody has come back from hunting, and a tiger is snatching our babies! how could this day get any worse?
  • The Agricultural Revolution
  • Anybody like my new dress? My husband gave it to me and it's so good and it feels so soft a-
  • Aren't you grateful that we have domestication and agriculture now?
  • :(
  • Please stop.
  •          Permanent Shelters
  • Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a caveman?
  • What's a cell?
  • I think you should go over and check cell 1.
  • What's a fourth wall?
  • Sure! Thanks!
  • During these times, everybody was a nomad. Men were hunting, Women were gathering food, and lots of babies were dying. since there are no doors or anything, people were vulnerable to threats like animals (as seen above), and life was very difficult.
  • Surplus of food + more jobs
  • Thanks for the fish! Hey, want a basket? you know, to show appreciation.
  • Jimmy, where do we put all this food? We have no more space in the storage room!
  • Then, there was a revolution! Humans finally learned how to grow crops! They didn't need to go looking for food out in the wild anymore. They also learned to tame animals like pigs, cows, and chickens for a steady source of food.
  • Creating Laws
  • Yeah, Arnold!
  • Oink?
  • A result of the agricultural revolution was permanent houses and shelters, since they didn't need to constantly move around to find more animals and crops. This let them actually spend a lot of care into their houses, knowing they will live in it for a very long time, therefore increasing the overall quality of the house. This makes life much more comfortable.
  • Trading
  • Thanks for the fish! Hey, want a basket? you know, to show appreciation.
  • No idea!
  • After a while, there were too many crops and animals for everybody to keep on doing the same job. This gave way to a selection of other jobs, like fishing, pottery, weaving, etc.
  • No idea!
  • ...I think i'm going to do something else.
  • People were also mad about certain things. for example, let's say that someone walked into your house, took a few apples, and left. would you be mad? Back then, there were no laws to prevent that, so people thought of laws. After laws, almost everybody was happy. Except Arnold. The little thief.
  • Steal my apples now, you little thief!
  • If you can't tell, Arnold stole their apples before there were laws.
  • Payback.
  • Whatever.
  • Not everyone was as skilled at a certain job as another, though. They started trading and using currency. This let people get rid of unwanted items, trade for things like baskets, fish, wheat, and more. This also made life much more comfortable.
  • What's a fourth wall?
  • Sure! thanks!
