  • The Upper Class
  • The upper Middle Class
  • The Lower Middle Class
  • The Upper Class controls a portion of the nations wealth. There are two type of upper class wealth, one of them is "Old Money" here you are born into wealth and power or is granted by inheritance. The second type is "New Money" here you work hard to be rich, you also purchase good for status rather than usefulness. 
  • The Working Class
  • The upper middle class is someone who had a really good job that pays great amounts of money, here you need to have a college degree or be career orientated. 
  • The Working Poor 
  • The lower middle class hold white collar jobs, which does not include manual labor. you can live comfortably but have to work hard to keep it. 
  • The UnderClass
  • the working class consist of a job that requires manual labor. some of these jobs make more money than the lower middle class but are less prestige.  
  • The working poor have the lowest paying jobs that are seasonal, they rarely make a living wage, rely on government programs, and are high school dropouts not involved politically. 
  • Families with unemployment and live in poverty.
