the water is evaporated from the sun then the water vapour condenses into clouds. when the water vapour becomes to heavy it dlls down as water droplets then the water either lands back into a waterway or it lands on the ground. when it lands on the ground the water infiltrates through the soil and into underground water storage. it can stay there of thousands of years. from the underground water storage it flows out back into the ocean, or the trees suck it up there roots and evaporate it through there leaves.
civilisation: civilisation can effect many factors of the water cycle, like infiltration and the amount of underground water storage. when areas are civilised less infiltration happens because the water cannot infiltrate concrete, tar and sky scrappers. and the amount of under ground water storage changes because in order for the water to get under ground it needs to first get through the soil, and it cannot do that 'cause of the concrete tar e.c.t deforestation: the main factor that deforestation effects is transpiritation. deforestation effects transpiritation because the trees are getting removed so there are no trees to transpirit.
by taking 5 minute showers i'm reducing the amount of water that goes down the drain and into treatment plants. When the water camping out of the shower head could be used for drinking (if you had a filter) or to wash the car.And by putting water tanks on your house you are collecting the rain water that runs of your roof that would otherwise go into the ground when it could be used for drinking and washing.
