  • The eighth amendment says this is ILEGAL!! DON'T KILL ME! THIS IS CRUEL!
  • Oh, I guess it does say that. I guess I won't kill you.
  • Ninth Amendment
  • The seventh amendment states that anytime a person sues another for more than $20, they can ask a jury to decide the case. Whatever a jury decides is final, unless a jury member or lawyer breaks the law during trial.
  • Tenth Amendment
  • I agree as well!

  • The eighth amendment states fair prices must be set for fines for small crimes and bail. Bail is the amount of money paid to leave jail after you've been arrested. This amendment also says that the government cannot use "cruel and unusual punishment", or anything that's brutal/unfair.
  • The ninth amendment states that it protects citizens' other right that are not listed in Amendments #1-8. The government cannot take away our daily rights and freedoms.

  • The tenth amendment states that it protects the power of each level government. Any power not given to the national government by the Constitution goes to the states go to the people. (Federalism)
