Odysseus is humbled.

Odysseus is described as heroic, resourceful, great and other leadership words. At his home Ithaka, he has a wife, a child and king of Ithaka. Unfortunately, during his journey he gets washed up on the island of the Phaecians and has lost absolutely everything.
Poseidon the god of the sea sends a storm while Odysseus is out sailing. He gets washed up on the land of the Phaecians and left with nothing. Even the strongest god-like figures can lose their fortunes in the blink of an eye.
Odysseus is then led to the Phaecian king's palace so he can ask for help. The king and queen are confused because looks like a strong, handsome guy and he now needs their help to regain himself. Odysseus has to humble himself to ask for help from Alkinoos and his wife.
