There once was a poor miller who had nothing to give his 3 sons but his mill, his donkey, and his cat. The divide was made. The oldest getting the mill. The 2 one getting the donkey. The youngest got the cat, which he named Puss. He thought he would surely perish, but he was wrong.
I am tired of being poor.
Puss would catch rats in a bag and bring them to the king. He would trade for money. He knew that the king would walk with his daughter in the forest, so he got his master ready.
Tell your master that I thank him and that I am very pleased with his gift.
Wow! I tricked the king!!!
He turned into a mouse and Puss ate him up.
I heard that you can change into the smallest of animals .
This is true! For proof, I shall turn into a mouse.
Puss's plan fell into place. Puss said the castle was his masters. The king was impressed and said that Puss's master would be a fool not to be his son in law.
They were married and Puss was made Lord. He never chased mice again, except for entertainment.
