  • Japan Colonization/ Imperialism 
  • We must fight! We want to control and we cant agree with the United States!
  • U.S. Oil/Steel Embargo on Japan
  • Pear Harbor
  • Japan ruled directly through their military. It was quite harsh, they decided they would not be able to come to an agreement with the US. 
  • Japans living in America, were invaded, searching for weapons or communication with Japan. 
  • Franklin D. Roosevelt decided to cut off all oil supply to Japan. This made Japan very mad because it was harder to get resources and it led to Pearl Harbor. 
  •  FDR: Date which will live in infamy
  • On December 7,1941 Pearl Harbor was attacked. Mostly by Torpedoes. They wanted to destroy the naval fleets but failed. Due to the bombing, United States declared war on Japan. 
  • Hitler increasing his empire: Taking Jews to Concentration Camps.
  • Auschwitz
  • After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Japanese people living in the U.S. were treated unfairly. Their houses were searched for any contact with Japan or weapons. Even Japanese decent children were spit on or bullied.
  • I promise you we have no relationship with people living in Japan!
  • After Pearl Harbor FDR came out to speak about the incident. He told the details on how it led to where it ultimately ended up. 
  • We were suddenly attacked by the Empire of Japan
  • Hitler became even more powerful during WWII. He took Jews out of their homes and either killed them in Gas Chambers or made them work excessively.
