  •  The futuristic world ( 2081) is full of handicaps to limits peoples abilities, George and hazel are watching TV. Before this their son had been taken to prison for what we can assume as a plan against the government. They are watching TV program with ballerinas.
  • Falling action
  • Harrison show up at the studio that is on TV. While he is on camera the world watches as he removes his many handicaps and the handicaps of his new empress. Then he tells the standing by musicians to play and removes their handicaps as well. Harrison and his empress then dance and get higher and higher and closer and closer to the ceiling. 
  • Resolution
  • Diana moon shows up at the studio and then kills both Harrison and his empress.
  • literary device
  • Diana the tells the musicians they need to put back their handicaps back on or she would kill them too.
  • At the end of the story it goes back to George and Hazel watching the TV but George had left the room to get something when Harrison was shot. He does not know about him dying. Hazel was in the room but could not understand that It was their son.
  • "She must have been extraordinarily beautiful, because her mask she wore was hideous.And it was easy to see that she was the strongest and most graceful of all the dancers, for her handicap bags were as big as those worn by two-hundred pound men.  *The author doing this makes the handicaps seem unfair because the dancer was better then the others and she was almost punished for being pretty and strong.
