  • You think we’re able to afford our beautiful home with just earning good grades?! Try harder! 
  • I don’t know how my parents expect me to be smarter and get better grades to meet their expectations. I’m already a good student, but its not good enough.
  • I’m already a good student, but its not good enough.
  • Jannet is beginning to feel that she is a no one in her parents eyes because she can’t meet their excessive demands. She never gets recognition for her already good grades.
  • Adolescents who feel this way and develop a negative identity, to get noticed in a different way.
  • Parents should recognize their child’s accomplishments and have better communication with their child that fosters healthy development, before the sign of problems in identity, like negative identity come up. 
  • Jannet decides to stop worrying so much about school, and instead focus on creating her new band.
