Mother's were expected to tend to the children. She was supposed to raise them and teach them at home. This means that they were seen inferior than men. They were seen as a house slave.
When women were attending their husbands, they were expected to obey everything their husbands orders them to do. They were not allowed any breaks and had to work to work at all times.
Women were expected to always respect their husbands in public. They were also expected to behave. They could not divorce their husbands. They were seen as a curse to humans. If they were caught disrespecting their husband they were burn on a stake.
