It was a cold day on March 5, 1770 and a young man approached Hugh White because he failed to pay for his hair cut. He was protesting with a mob of people.

Private Hugh White hit him with the end of his musket. The mob got bigger, and they started started to throw ice at Hugh White and the 29th infantry regiment.
After a few minutes, the mob got bigger, and the British got angrier because the colonists were throwing objects at them. The troops heard "fire", so all the soldiers fired at a group of unarmed colonists. A few people died, so this became what's known as the Boston Massacre.
