Storyboard Text

  • Allison speaks while Jawad films
  • Do you know what net neutrality is?
  • If not, net neutrality is the principle that all data on the internet should be treated the same  by the government with no discrimination whatsoever.
  • Sources https://psu.pb.unizin.org/ist110/chapter/9-1-net-neutrality/ https://www.technologyreview.com/s/603979/why-the-senates-vote-to-throw-out-privacy-laws-for-isps-isnt-all-bad/ https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2017/03/how-isps-can-sell-your-web-history-and-how-to-stop-them/
  • Net neutrality does have some bad points but it is a good thing.
  • One of the good things is that Net Neutrality would help prevent  discrimination against others on the internet by internet service providers.
  • Net Neutrality would also help reassure many people that their information will not be sold to other websites even though some ignore the rule and still sell the people's information.
  • Net Neutrality would also help to make it where ISP s cannot use our browsing data for ads. One thing to use is HTTPS so that the browsing history from that website cannot be used by ISP s.
  • Jawad speaks while I film.
  • Thank You for watching I hope you have learned so much about Net Neutrality.
  • Remember to write a poster with sources on it
