One of the many causes of the great depression was the dust bowl. When the farmers were raking up all the top soil from the ground, all th dust went in the air. Which soon grew so much where it turned into a huge dust cloud.
After the Dust bowl many people got sick with dust pneumonia. Many of the farmers got tired of the dust and cleaning it up after every dust storm. So many of them just decided to leave the area so they wouldn't have to deal with it anymore.
Beginning of WW2
The Great Depression started when President Herbert Hoover was in office. Because of this everybody blamed the Great Depression on him. the boxes and wou sheds that the homeless and unemployed people lived in were named Hoovervilles.

WW2 began when Germany had an attack on Poland that was uncalled for. Soon many of the countries got involved such as; France and Great Britain.
Many people say that WW2 ended the Great Depression. When America went in to the war, many jobs opened up in the country. This means that there was less people that were unemployed. With more people in jobs, the companies kept making a profit since people were getting more money.
