Storyboard Text

  • On the way back from winning a battle, Macbeth stumbles across three witches and they give him a prophecy saying that he will become the King of Scotland.
  • Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to kill Duncan and he does it, becoming the king himself, not before feeling very stressed.
  • Macbeth then orders people to kill Banquo and his son Fleance, but Fleance escapes. Macbeth visits the witches again and they tell him no man of woman born can harm him but warns him about Macduff.
  • Macbeth then sends people to kill Macduff's family while Macduff and Malcolm, Duncan's son, are in England joining forces to overthrow Macbeth.
  • Lady Macbeth can not cope with the guilt she feels so kills herself.
  • In the final battle, Macduff enters Macbeth's castle and kills him by chopping off his head. Malcolm becomes the rightful king, and Scotland is restored to its former peace and order.
