  • My name is Sacajawea, I will help you on your expedition, this is my son Pompey.
  • Hello, we are explorers that are in need of some help, would you be able to help us? Also what is your name?
  • President Jefferson, on our expedition we discovered over 300 new species of plants and animals. We've also made diplomatic connection with the Native Americans.
  • Lewis and Clark had to discover the areas plants, animal life and geography.  Doing so slowed down the journey. Lewis spent hours each day exploring and taking samples.
  • Good job soldiers!

  • The expedition needed an interpreter so they asked Sacajawea to come with her new born son. She excepted and continued the journey with the expedition. She helped show short cuts, had connections, and she helped with finding food sources.
  • They finally arrived home September 1806, many were excited to go home, but many families thought that they were dead.
