Last week, Emma, the patient laying on the hospital bed, started to not feel normal. So, today she decided to go to the hospital.
Good morning, Emma. My name is Nurse Smith, and I will be checking you out before the doctor comes in.
What effects have you been feeling lately that brought you here?
Lately, I have been feeling tired, I don't have much of an appetite, I'm losing weight, and I have been very swollen lately.
Emma sits up on her bed, as the nurse begins to check her.
Okay, I am going to be right back in with the doctor. We are going to have to run a series of tests.
Okay, thank you so much doctor Bill!
Hello Emma, my name is doctor Bill, tonight I am going to review your medical conditions and worries!
Two Days Later...
After being in the hospital for about 3 days, her mom came to check in, and today is the day that doctor Bill decided what Emma is struggling from.
Over the last three days of research and tests, my coworkers and I have come to the conclusion that Emma has Lymphoma. I am so sorry
Emma, you are going to need to make yourself comfortable here, in the hospital, because you are going to receive chemo over the next few months. This is going to be a long journey, and your attitude toward it is great!!
