After Allambie turned of age, he was required to meet with the Shaman and follow his faith by doing a vision quest.
For Allambie's vision quest, he went to a sacred place known as a sweat lodge. The sweat lodge's purpose is for purification. The sweat lodge will get very hot, which will cause him to sweat and become dehydrated.
Allambie will not receive any food or water while in this sacred place. He will pray and fast until his vision becomes clear...
Allambie will eventually see his vision. In his vision he sees an elephant. This vision is the most important part of the vision quest. Allambie will then receive a new name given by an elder that will represent what his vision has shown him.
On the journey home Allambie meets with the elder to explain his vision. The elder tells Allambie that the elephant in his vision symbolizes power and strength. This vision represents Allambie's life in the future and the man he will become.
Allambie's new name shall now be Allambie Jejiibajikii. Jejiibajikii means elephant. This new name will represent what Allambie saw in his vision and what his vision meant. This new name shall also symbolize the person he will become.
