  • Okay. Well, I also understand that there are disorders in the respiratory system. I would like to know more about one specific disorder.
  • Well of course ask away!
  • I know that Asthma is a respiratory condition caused by spasms in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing. What causes it though?
  • It is caused by an allergen or psychological stress.
  • So then how is it treated? I have heard that you can use something called an asthma pump.
  • The doctor may give you inflammatory drugs because the airway is inflamed. A inhaled bronchodilator may also be given.
