This is basically how 14 year old, Emmett Till's body was found laying in the Tallahatchie River after spending his summer in Money, Mississippi.
One summer, Emmett Till, a young boy around the age of 14 decided to leave his home in Chicago. To take a trip to Money, Mississippi to visit his relatives. "A good place to raise a boy" was the town's slogan.
If only he knew he would never return.
Bryant's Grocery and Meat Market
On August 24, 1955 Emmett Till and a couple of teenagers went into Bryant's Grocery and Meat Market to buy some supplies.
When Emmett Till left the shop he said, "Bye Baby!" to Carolyn Grant.
A horrible moment in history.
