What lead me to my death, my ultimate downfall was my over abundence of self-confidence.
Now that I am king I know I will be a responsible leader and will do wonderful things for my people and my kingdom.
I knew It was illegal to bury my brother. But what are you going to do about that?
So you chose to purposely disobey me ?
Polyneices here lies dead all due to him living with too much confidence (hubris) in himself. Because it didn't let him think about the decision he was making because he always thought that he was great.
Here Creon shows hubris in the way he talks about himself as a leader. He is showing lots of confidence in saying that he will be a responsible leader that will do amazing things, without doubting himself at all.
Antigone shows hubris in the way she talks to Creon, and how confident she is in herself knowing the consequences of what she has done.
