  • In class
  • In the 7th century, on June 8, 632 AD Muhammad a great leader had died from an illness and had let Abu Bakr rule.
  • When Abu Bakr started ruling, he had met the Umayyads and made a deal with them if they can help him spread.
  • HAHAHHA...
  • After the Umayyads helped Abu Bakr spread, muslims wanted to split themselves into Shias and Sunnis because they had different beliefs.
  • When the Shias and Sunnis split the Umayyads expand Islam by moving their capital to Damascus. After a few years they decided to expand their capital to Spain and they were called Moors.
  • Finally after the Umayyads had their share of governing Islam, they Abbasids govern right after them.
