  • Lewis and Clark get their mission brief from Thomas Jefferson
  • Yes sir!
  • I need you two to explore the Louisiana Purchase!
  • Lewis and Clark start their journey in 1803 and start charting their findings
  • I don't know, but look at this plant! 
  • How are we going to get across this water?
  • Lewis and Clark suffer from hunger, fatigue, and illness. Luckily they receive help from a native american guide.
  • We are low on supplies and very tired. We need a guide, could u help us?
  • I can guide you friends.
  • Thomas Jefferson tells Lewis and Clark that he wants them to explore the new land called the Louisiana Purchase.
  • In November of 1805 Lewis and Clark reached the pacific ocean and decided to build a fort.
  • Look at the view of the water from here!
  • Lewis and Clark set out and struggle crossing dangerous waters. While traveling they chart their new finding such as plants and animals.
  • On the way home, Lewis and Clark split up and Lewis got attacked by Indians. Later they met up at the Missouri river.
  • I was attacked by Indians, I got away unscathed though.
  • What Happened?
  • Lewis and Clark had almost no food, they were very tired, and they were suffering from sickness. However, they found an Indian tribe and recruited a guide to help them.
  • Lewis and Clark returned home with warm welcomes and Lewis was made governor of the Louisiana Purchase.
