Storyboard Text

  • God had seen the wickedness of the world and decided to send a big flood and destroy all the living creatures of the Earth, except for his faithful servant Noah and his family. God sent a message to Noah to warn him about the impending flood.
  • I am sending a flood to destroy the earth. Build an ark and take your family and two of each animal with you.
  • Yes lord
  • For the next 7 days Noah worked tirelessly to build the ark. Once he was finished he gathered up 2 of every animal he could find and put them on the boat.
  • Once Noah, his family and all the animals were on board it began to rain. The rain continued for 40 days and 40 nights
  • For 150 days floodwaters covered the Earth killing all the people and animals that were still on land. The only ones that survived were Noah his family and the animals on the ark.
  • After 150 days the flood waters began to recede. 2 1/2 months later Noah sent out a dove to see if the Earth was completely dry. When the dove came back with an olive branch Noah knew that it was safe to leave the boat.
  • The land must be dry enough for us to live on now.
  • This is my covenant. Whenever I see the rainbow I will remember my promise to never again bring such destructive flood waters to the Earth.
  • God then made a covenant with Noah to remind him that He would never again send a flood to destroy the Earth.
  • Thank you lord
