- Amelia Earhart was a women who took risk. She was a nurse at World War 2. Women were not looked upon during the 1920s . But she loved working for people, she decided to become a social worker for immigrant families.
- One day after her work, Amelia Earhart got a call. Her dream was to become a great aviator.
- We have someone willing to fund the first women flight. You will not fly the plane and they will be two men with you. We will pay them more money and you will get nothing. Oh, and you may die!
- I must take it!
- Less than 5 years later , Amelia Earhart was the first women to fly non stop across the Atlantic Ocean , rightly one of the most famous and respected people in the world.
