  • At the beginning of the scene I would record Christopher searching for his book all around Father's bedroom. At the moment that he sees the toolbox and shirtbox I would zoom in into the boxes. There would be no specific dialogue, since he's alone, yet the audience would be able to listen to his thoughts.

  • Christopher?
  • (I would switch the camera angle) He opens the shirtbox and sees his book, he's happy Father didn't throw it away. While he's looking into the box he hears Father's van pulling outside of the house.

  • I must be quiet...
  • Before changing of scenario I would zoom in into Christopher's hands while he holds one of the envelopes. I would leave it for some seconds, that way the audience would be able to see his name and address. Then I would change scene and focus on Father entering into the house.

  • Father calls out for Christopher, after having no response I would switch back into the bedroom. To see what was Christopher doing while Father was calling for him.
  • Here the audience would be able to see Christopher holding the envelope and then listening to Father's call (as a "continue" to the last scene of him) He would put back the book and leave the bedroom quietly. I would switch of camera angle and record himm all of the way from Father'sbedroom to his own.
  • There would be a camera switch- to his back (a camera from the hallway while opening the door) -to the front (a camera inside his room that gets his front while opening the door) * still on the door he would look to both sides (looking for a hiding place) then he runs towards his bed, where he hides the envelope underneath his matress.
