When it was dark, Jesus finished talking to us and told us it was a day and we should go home. My brother and I quickly ran home and excitedly told our family and friends what happened. Everyone was surprised and joyful that my brother was all healed and that we got to witness one of Jesus’ great miracles.
Let's call this, 'The Feeding of the Five-Thousand'
Whilst I was doing the washing for my family, my mum told me to stop and take my brother down the deserted place, as news was travelling around that Jesus was about to go there. I quickly took the washing back home and went to find my brother.
Come and take your brother to see the Son of God, Jesus!
As I give you this bread to eat, we should thank God for supplying us with this food...
It took hours to walk to where Jesus was. It was very hard for my brother and excruciating for me that I saw my brother in this position.
Come on! We are almost there!
We finally made it to Jesus with a big crowd behind us, trying to see the Son of God too. We were completely exhausted and everyone was sad as they walked such a long way. Suddenly, Jesus saw us and gave us sympathy, healing all of our sicknesses. When I looked down, I saw my brother’s legs were the same size! I was amazed!
Once we all finished eating, I was completely full! I only at one little piece of bread and fish and I felt like I at a whol3-course meal! When the disciples went around the collect all the scraps, they collected 12 buckets full! I had no idea how Jesus did it, but I felt very privileged to be part of it.
Everyone was suggesting that we should go to the village and buy something for us to eat, but Jesus performed another miracle that I will never forget. He took the 5 loaves of bread and the 2 fish, blessed them and broke them, handing them to the disciples, who handed them to us. I never thought this would be enough for everyone to eat…
