On pages 17-19 the first major event of the book occurs. Connor bolting onto the highway to run from the cops to try to get away from being unwound.  While running Conner kidnaps Lev out of a car. "Conner makes a split second decision and bolts, pushing the officer against the truck and races across the busy highway"
On pages 40-43 The 3 main characters first interact with each other. Although not on the right foot I mean considering that Lev was just kidnapped I don't blame him. "My names Lev," He says trying to play it as cool as he can. "Pleased to meet you Lev, I'm Risa and this is Connor" 
Lev calls Pastor Dan in order to inform him that he was kidnapped and where he was after all 3 of them went to a school to hide, But when Lev is calling him. He tells Lev something that he doesn't understand Along with that he calls the police betraying Connor and Risa"Dear god, Lev is that you? Where are you?" "I don't know some school. Listen you have to tell my parents to stop the police I don't want them killed" "I don't know what your talking about we never told the police."
On pages 96-97 After being betrayed by Lev, Connor and Risa find their way to the unwind underground railroad after getting a lead from a  teacher who helped them. They make their way to a sort of safe house where they meet two new characters. "Risa Gasps, and Connor follows her gaze until he sees them, two figures. Fellow unwinds for sure" Their names are Roland and Hayden
On pages 121-123 Lev meets a character named Cyrus Finch he's a runaway not an unwind and is very important later on in the story. "The kid is 15, and his name is Cyrus Finch although he doesn't go by that name "No one calls me Cyrus," he had told Lev shortly after they met. "I go by CyFi"
On pages 137-138 CyFi talks about his past and Lev learns alot about him. "Its a he," Cy says "I don't know his name. He musta kept that in another part of his brain. All I got was his right temporal lobe. " CyFi had gotten part of an unwind for his brain. For this he inherited the previous person's thoughts and memories
