Storyboard Text

  • One day, I was invited to a party. Thinking it would be fun, I accepted.
  • And you were right.
  • I told you this would be fun!
  • My friend Lilly invited me. As usual, with her popular looks, she had scored the invitation.
  • But then something weird happened. In the bathroom, Lilly offered me a cigarette.
  • Try one! It'll do amazing things!
  • I didn't know what to do.
  • But then I figured it out. I shouldn't. I told her no, then told her why.
  • No. I am not old enough to smoke, and if I do, I could go to jail Lilly. Jail!
  • Lilly didn't want to listen though. She got really angry.
  • I tried to reason with her one more time....
  • You chicken! You @!#$@!
  • Lilly, smoking is bad for you. It harms your lungs and can kill you.
  • But she adamantly refused to listen. Now what?
  • Finally, I figured it out. The best way to say "no" in this situation would be to just get out. And so I did.
  • I started to go home. I knew this was probably the best option. On the way, I called my mom, and told her what happened.
  • My mom was proud of me for saying no to the cigarette, and she felt bad about how my evening turned out. So we went to dinner, her treat.THE END
