Distance vs. Time

Storyboard Text

  • Hey John, lets race. I bet I can get to the other side of this field before you can.
  • They raced and John won. He went 100 meters in 10 seconds. Which means he went 10 meters per 1 second.
  • Bet! 3, 2, 1 GO!!!
  • WHAT?!?! I'm not going down without at least one win. Let's go again!
  • John won again while going 100 meters in 15 seconds. Which means he went 6.67 meters per 1 second.
  • Whatever you say Sid. But I'm telling you I'm just too fast!
  • HOW!? I WILL GO UNTIL I WIN. I'M SO CLOSE!!!
  • Sid and John raced yet again going a farther distance! He went 150 meters in 15 seconds. Which means he went 6 meters for every one second.
  • Oh boy. I will admit I'm a little tired, but I'm down to keep going until I am "defeated"
  • Someone please tell me how I haven't won yet! We're going again!
  • They raced again... and John still won! Same distance, but took a little longer. 150 meters in 30 seconds. He went 5 meters per second.
  • Fine, but I'm only up for 2 more races. If you don't beat me than I win!
  • ONE MORE TIME. I WILL WIN!!!
  • They raced again and Sid finally won! He went 300 meters in 50 seconds. He went 6 meters per second.
  • At this point, I want you to beat me.
