  • The Picture of Dorian Gray was written by Oscar Wilde in 1890. Those were the times were homosexuality was illegal and you could go to jail if you got caught.
  • I want to be young and beautiful forever.
  • I can't seem to get this part right.
  • You can't tell him I like him, or make it obvious!
  • I won't! Don't worry.
  • In this part, Dorian Gray is getting married to Amanda and Basil is sad because he wants to go out with Dorian, but he can't because it's against the law. Basil also thinks Dorian doesn't feel the same way
  • Dorian and Basil confessed their feelings for each other, and tried to hide it from others to not get caught.
  • We can keep a secret!
  • It's against the law. We may get arrested.
  • After this, Dorian's soul gets taken and he becomes immortal. This meaning, he was beautiful and nothing could kill him.
  • Dorian attempts to destroy his painting that his mortal image was put in and dies. After Dorian gets killed, Basil decides to start a whole new life.
