  • French peasants had to deal with two years of bad harvests prior to to the start of the revolution. Economic policies that deregulated the price of grain contributed to the crisis.
  • The Estate System
  • Somalia's most recent war has dug them into a deep hole of famine and poverty. This can cause another incident similar to the drought in 2011 that caused many deaths due to starvation.
  • The Estate System
  • Somalia's history of famine is repeating itself from 2011 when a drought caused about 260,000 people to die, to now. After their war with al-Shabab, they no longer had enough materials to keep everyone fed and healthy. It is necessary to get reinforcements to appease their struggles.

  • France had a social system that heavily favored the first and second estate (the clergy and nobility). Less than 3% of the population, these two groups, paid no taxes and controlled the government.
  • Myanmar's armed forces have a hierarchal structure. They operate according to formal structures and regulations that emphasize patriotism, professionalism and personal integrity.
  • The Tatmadaw, Myanmar's armed forces, launched "area clearance operations" against the Muslim Rohingya minority in Rakhine state and should be held legally accountable for a large amount of offenses against the Myanmar population.
