After was declared as a'Lost Child' Saroo accept the opportunity and decide to go to Australia to meet his new family. He was adopted by an Australian couple John and Sue Brierly which is from Tasmania, Australia.

Saroo goes to college and pursues of hospitality degree. He wonders about his Indian origin. One day he realize that modern technology can offer clues , and he use google searches and online maps to trace his childhood journey,use his memories to eventually identify the railway station where he got lost.
Sattelite images of a nearby town also confirm to his memories , and Saroo realizes that he's found his hometown which is call Ganesh Talai. And he decide to comeback to India to find his mother and siblings.
