Gina is a twelve year old Giraffe that attends school. She has many friends and gets good grades. Gina went to school and all of a sudden she started to feel nausea at lunch and asked to go the bathroom because she had acute pain and nausea. Her abdominal area was hurting
Gina got sick in the bathroom so the teacher called her father and told him she had Debility and possibly a Viral. Gina's dad came and picked her up from school and took her to the doctor. When they went to the doctor Doctor Kitty informed Gina and her father about her Diagnosis of Appendicitis and Hypertension due to her appendicitis and she will need an Appendectomy because of the rupture.
Gina was very scared and was not sure what appendicitis was. Dr. Kitty told her it was an inpatient and laparoscopic surgery because of inflammation of the appendix. Gina was glad it was invasive. Gina's dad asked if genetics played a role and made Gina feel better by telling her he had the same surgery. Dr. Kitty said she would not feel any pain and would be put to sleep with anesthesia.
Gina did amazing in the surgery. She was all better. Once she woke up Dr. Kitty said she needs to take analgesia drugs such as steroids and anti-inflammatory. Gina was so glad all her bacteria was gone and she could go see her friends at school now. She thanked Dr. Kitty for helping her with pain and then went home to rest
