Hello, my name is Socrates and I am a Greek philosopher from the classical period. I was born in Athens during around 469 B.C.
I grew up with learning the basic greek education and followed in my father's footsteps to work as a stonemasonry.
This is my wife, Xanthippe, who is obviously much younger than me. She gave birth to three boys of mine.
My life is told mostly from contemporary sources, the dialogues coming from Plato, Aristotle and a couple of other sources.
I will soon be charged for refusing to recognise the gods acknowledged by the state and sent to exile by being poisoned.
I believe that the purpose of a government is to provide happiness for the people. It consists of one leader who has a greater understanding for themselves, and has the wisdom, ability, and knowledge to incorporate that into a government.
I also think that governments are instituted by the smarts of a person for he who knows and has the greater ability to reason and make choices that bring true happiness to himself and people.
Governments should be expected to provide a understanding for the people and obtain great knowledge and good decision skills that can keep a good reputation for the people along with providing happiness to all.
