Carbon comes from burning wood and fossil fuels, which releases carbon dioxide into the air.
The Carbon Cycle By: Alexandra G.
Plants use the carbon dioxide that was put into the air and mix it with sunlight to photosynthesize.
Animals eat the flowers and take in the flower's carbon dioxide.
When an animal dies, it will decompose into the soil and get absorbed by the roots of plants that are trying to grow.
These plants absorb the carbon dioxide rich soil and turn it into organic carbon dioxide, which humans can consume.
Humans will eat these plants and take in the organic carbon dioxide, then they will use respiration to bring it back into the atmosphere.
