  • Macbeth and Lady Macbeth meet Banquo for the last time before he is murdered. Banquo is suspicious of Macbeth because he's so happy directly after King Duncans 
  • Act 4
  • Macbeth freaks out because he claims to be able to see the ghost of Banquo sitting in his chair. Lady Macbeth tells the guests that he's okay and this happens all the time due to stress.
  • Act 5
  • The three witches meet with Macbeth again and they present him with three apparitions that help explain what the future holds. The three apparitions appear in this order; an armed head, a bloody child, and a crowned child with a tree.
  • Act 5
  • Lady Macduff and her son encounter the murders who attempt to kill Macduff, however they kill her and her son instead when they realize Macduff is nowhere to be seen
  • Lady Macbeth is sleepwalking and begins to show her guilt surfacing as she goes to the sink and endeavors to wash off all the "blood" on her hands. 
  • Macduff kills Macbeth and ends his reign as king.
